What can site signage and a newsletter mailer do for an upcoming development? Just ask our client Polygon Homes. Within two days of site signage going up and a mail piece delivered to area residents, 2000 people registered for Sunstone, Polygon's latest community of homes and amenities planned for North Delta, BC. Ben Smith, Vice President Marketing, called it Polygon's "best result ever."
Sparking anticipation and interest for Sunstone started with two simple elements - signage and a newsletter. The bright orange hoarding along busy Nordel Way was impossible to miss. It not only included the project name and logo but also key contact information for passersby. The newsletter provided detailed information about the community plan, variety of amenities, and style of homes. Its fresh colours and photographs, area map, and clean layout created an attractive and easy-to-understand communication piece. Together, these elements got just the reaction Polygon was looking for - people registering in record numbers.

After years of intense planning and public consultation, construction will soon begin on the ambitious Sunstone development. It is the first project of its size and scope in North Delta in more than 20 years. The collection of townhomes and single-family homes (to be built by Morningstar Homes) will include a resort-style clubhouse, a shopping centre, parks and pathways, a small lake, playing fields, and mini-playgrounds, creating a diverse community for residents of all generations.
DfR's campaign for Sunstone has just begun. Watch for more collateral as the development moves closer to completion.
