DfR's campaign for Waterscapes set a new standard for real estate marketing in Kelowna. The look and feel of the collateral distinguished us from everyone else and the Presentation Centre was the talk of the town. The DfR team was instrumental in ensuring our first development in the Okanagan got the results we were looking for.

For their first (and very ambitious) project in Kelowna, BC, prominent developer Ledingham McAllister counted on DfR to produce a comprehensive marketing campaign targeting prospective buyers across Western Canada.

Located in a former railway shipping yard along Kelowna's Brandt's Creek, Waterscapes is a luxury masterplanned community close to the city's downtown core and beautiful Lake Okanagan. Beginning with logo development for the overall community and the two initial home offerings, and moving forward with signage, print ads, invitations, direct mail, product and community brochures, and a 6,000 square foot Presentation Centre, DfR designed a phased campaign promoting the Waterscapes lifestyle. The integrated materials highlighted those elements that make Waterscapes a unique, high-end offering, while also showing how it blends with the existing landscape and culture that makes the Okanagan such a popular vacation destination. The campaign was a knock-out, generating unprecedented interest and sales. Eager buyers began to line up at 2 a.m. the morning before the Presentation Centre's Grand Opening, hoping to secure their chance to purchase at Waterscapes. At the opening, owner Ward McAllister fielded compliments from customers and competitors alike regarding the stunning Presentation Centre and impressive development. Over 75% of available homes sold during the first weekend alone. With the first phase a resounding success, DfR is now turning its attention to the earlier-than-expected release of Waterscapes' third offering - Osprey.
